Differences in Eastern and Western Thought

This week we have explored the differences between Eastern and Western thought as part of our time studying foreign language.  We watched a series of two documentaries highlighting some of the differences.  My kids especially liked when they had opportunities to pick an answer to a little quiz and compare their answer to people in the West (USA and UK) and East (Japan, Korea, and China).  One child almost always saw things from a Western perspective and one child chose the same things that people in the East chose, but only about half of the time.  This kid is the one who usually sees things differently anyway.

Here is the second one, but the first was the better one.
