We delved into our unit study on Italy this week. We’ll be studying Italy for eight weeks looking at the culture, the geography, and a bit of history. We made flags out of construction paper this week. I just cut out the colors and the boys glued them together to make an Italian flag. For the cookie cake I made the cookie dough and baked a large flat mass of cookie dough on a large cookie pan. I then attempted to cut the cookie cake to make it look like Italy. The boys decorated the cookie cake with frosting, colored sugar in the colors of the Italian flag, and used marshmallows and candies to represent the mountains.
THAT is TOO cute!!!
