Playing games for history

As we came to a close on our study of ancient Egypt we enjoyed a game of Senat.  We started out by making a Senat board out of cardboard.  We used coins (pennies and dimes) for the different players.  You can read the rules of the game and how to make one here.

History is anything but boring so when possible we attempt to make history come alive.  It was fun and a great way to wind down our study of ancient Egypt.
