Starting Greek in Kindergarten

I’ve started all my kids on Greek when they were close to Kindergarten age.  My daughter has begun to learn the Koine Greek alphabet this year and we using the Hey Andrew, Teach Me Some Greek workbook for level 1 as well as the readerto introduce her to the letters and the sounds they make.  I’ve had a Greek alphabet posted near the ceiling of our schoolroom for a couple of years so my daughter was used to seeing the letters and would occasionally ask about them.  She has really enjoyed getting to know the letters so far.  We have mostly focused on learning the alphabet song and have read through the reader a couple times.  We just started on the workbook this week.

My daughter just mastered the last few letters of the alphabet song the past few days and she was really proud of herself.
