We did blood typing this year as part of our science study on the human body. I used a couple of kits from Rainbow Resource Center.
The process involved a little finger prick and squeeze to collect the blood needed. To start I had to place a drop of water on each circle. Then I cleaned the finger to be used and pricked it. I then had to collect drops of blood in a little tool and mix it with the water drop. I had a little tool for each circle.
Once that was completed we had to turn the card different directions to finish the test. We then looked at the chart that came with the test to determine the blood type. My kids ended up having different blood types so we were able to interpret two different results.
