Let’s face it. Flashcards are boring. Repeated drill of math facts can get quite tedious. This past summer I downloaded a free file from CurrClick for an addition and subtraction Bingo game. It is a simple game with about 5 different Bingo cards to print off.
Flashcards can then be used to give the child an addition or subtraction problem and once they answer correctly they can put a token/chip on the spot with that number. You can play blackout or four in a row. We tried blackout once so far and ended up with a tie so maybe four in a row works better for these Bingo games. The highest number on the cards is 20 and the lowest number is 0.
My boys enjoyed the game and we will continue to use it to practice math facts.
