Today I learned of a great resource for kids learning Arabic. Sesame Street has been made in many different languages and many episodes of the Egyptian Arabic Sesame Street are available on Youtube. You can cut and paste this: عالم سمسم to search Youtube or you can go to this video (posted below) and find many others uploaded by the same person.
We usually watch a foreign language video like this during lunch. Our library has an abundance of Chinese videos, but is lacking in Arabic videos for kids. We have Arabian Sinbad DVDs
