As I was planning out our science activities this school year I found Neuroscience for Kids to be a great place. It provides many ways to make learning about the brain hands-on. I thought my kids would enjoy making a PlayDoh brain so we tried that out. We used different colors to demonstrate the different areas of the brain like the brainstem, occipital lobe, frontal lobe, etc. We didn’t have enough PlayDoh on hand to make a 3D model so we did a flat one.
