  1. I would love to know where to start. I have a 3rd grader bored out of her mind at a traditional school who is asking to homeschool, a 2nd grader interested too, and a 6th grader with some special needs (impulsive and attention) that would like to pursue his interests more than anything else. I am loving your blog- it is so jammed packed with info, but I also feel overwhelmed to say the least to be considering diving into this. First, as you plan, how do you determine what resources work and also how much money are you investing for each child?

    1. I learn what resources work by trial and error and getting to know how my kids learn. I have spent little and spent $500 per kid. I have used the library often and keep costs down that way.

    1. If you look at the tab at the top of the page called Curriculum Plans, you will see the curriculum we used for grades 5 and 6 previously. I do personalize curriculum choices for each child, so 5th grade will look different for each child. I hope that helps!
