Ocean Unit Study

This is our second time around with this ocean unit study.  I updated links and changed it slightly to match my 5th grader’s needs.  My 9th grader wants to join in too.  He is taking a high school biology class at a project-based learning center and we are supplementing at home.

This study primarily uses 5 different books and online videos. We will also supplement this study with trips to a local aquarium and take a field trip to a good tide pool beach.

The books are:

Tidal Zone (Exploring the Oceans)
Sunlit Zone (Exploring the Oceans.)
Twilight Zone (Exploring the Oceans)
Midnight Zone (Exploring the Oceans.)
