A little nerdiness in the kitchen is a good thing. Earlier this year my kids and I stumbled on some awesome videos on Youtube. My kids enjoy watching a short cooking video every day before bed. It has inspired many fun creations of their own.
Rosanna Pansino creates a new Nerdy Nummies video each week. I find her to be absolutely brilliant. She makes yummy treats using themes like Minecraft, Star Wars, chess, math, and more. I’ve posted two recent videos here. The Helping Hands video is hilarious. She makes a smoothie without the use of her hands. A guy is ducking behind her being her hands.
My kids like making their own “Nerdy Nummies”. Just after they watched the Helping Hands video my son decided to try it on his brother in the bathroom. Can we just say that mouthwash was everywhere?
My kids also get a lot of laughs watching the Simple Cooking Channel. The guy is rather silly and seems to have a fascination with making things out of Jello. This one is my kids’ favorite.
