I stumbled across a website when I was putting together my son’s physics study, but I didn’t realize how amazing this website was until my son sat down to do the Crash Science Investigation activity. That day he spent about 3 hours analyzing a crash scene. He had to do things like write statements from witnesses and calculate forces. When he was done he wanted to do another one! That makes the website a winner in my book.
They also have many other activities like Deep Brain Stimulation, Design a Cell Phone, Stem Cell Transplant, and Virtual Knee Replacement Surgery. Appropriate grade levels, ranging from 2nd grade through high school, are posted for each activity.
